The day has finally arrived, nine new sets from Waltzingmouse Stamps are being released today!! If you missed the start of the blog waltz then go back to Claire's blog to see the list. We're featuring Paris Nouveau and Labels 25 on our blogs today. I think these might actually be my two favorite sets from the release. Paris Nouveau is just a dream!! Stunning art nouveau labels, a gorgeous border, beautiful motifs, sentiments and of course the Eiffel Tower!!
Here's a detail from the border I used from Paris Nouveau to stamp the background. I love it just in classic black and white.
The large label is from Labels 25, I cut it by hand as I don't have that Spellbinders die yet. I simply colored the oval border to tie in with my yellow flower. The Eiffel Tower was very easy to cut out too.
The sentiment is from a previously previewed set Compact Sentiments! Really love this set! So handy!!
I added a little dimension to my card by popping the Eiffel Tower on with foam pads and the large label I adhered with foam tape. Please excuse the photos of my second card, daylight disappeared on me!!
Ha, I shrunk the Eiffel Tower for this card!! I used some Shrink Plastic to make a little Eiffel Tower embellishment! Isabelle was very impressed by the whole Shrink Plastic process!!
The houndstooth label is also from Labels 25, I hand cut this one too. The green background I embossed using a houndstooth embossing folder!
This sentiment is from the Paris Nouveau set. There are three more in that set. The pattern to the left of the label is stamped using the border stamp from Paris Nouveau.
I hope you enjoyed all the previews of these fabulous new stamp sets. Next on the blog waltz list is the lovely Kelly!! Enjoy the rest of the waltz and don't leave it too long to place your order at Waltzingmouse Stamps, you might miss out on your favorite sets!!
Please remember to leave comments on each of the design team members’ blog posts today. Claire will randomly select a winner from the comments and one lucky person will win a set of their choice! You have until March 3, 2012, 11:59 p.m. to comment (5:59 a.m. Central, 3:59 a.m. Pacific and 6:59 a.m. Eastern).

Thanks to everyone who's visited my blog the past few days, I really appreciate all the comments and feedback! : ) Welcome to day 3 of the Waltzingmouse Stamps February release previews. Nine new stamp sets are being released on the 29th of February (tomorrow!). Today we're looking at Compact Sentiments and Heirloom Patterns (Heirloom Patterns was designed by fellow DT member Anya). I went for a clean graphic look for my card this time and I was inspired by this photo, yes it is a dog collar! : )
There are two different sized houndstooth patterns in the Heirloom Patterns set. I used the smaller one here. I was SO delighted when I saw this set, I've been longing for a houndstooth stamp! Anya did a fabulous job of designing this set!
It's so easy to line up and stamps wonderfully. I guess you'll be seeing lots more houndstooth cards from me! : ) The bright pink satin ribbon is from the Craft Fairy. I decided to go with a charcoal cardstock for the card base instead of black, for a softer look.
The sentiment is from Compact Sentiments, another must have set! I love the font Claire used on this and I really love the wording in the sentiments. I never have enough sentiment stamps, there's always one you're looking for that will work with the card you're making.
For my second card I went with a more shabby, distressed and textural style. I used the diamond patterned background stamp on this one from the Heirloom Patterns set.
I stamped the diamond pattern onto some beige card and embossed in white. Then I inked over it with some Distress Inks in Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.
On the little tag I lightly stamped another of the patterns from Heirloom Patterns using Memento Angel pink. The fabulous sentiment is from Compact Sentiments. Delighted to have a new baby sentiment!!
For the flower I made a rosette using the larger Sizzix rosette die and inked the top. For the leaves I just drew a simple leaf template and cut from felt (2 layers) and stitched on the machine. Stapled together because it was handy!
Oh and here's another of those fabby signature stamps from Make Your Mark, I added this one to the back of my card using coffee archival ink. Check out what the rest of the WMS DT have created! Here's the ladies sharing previews today.

Welcome to day 2 of the Waltzingmouse Stamps February release previews. Nine sets will be released on the 29th of February! Today we're looking at Nordic Spring and Florentine Frippery, two stunning sets jam packed full of elements! My first card features Nordic Spring (and a label from Very Vintage Labels No.10).
This butterfly is definitely one of my favorite elements in the set, so I decided to make a feature of it on my card. Stamped with VersaMagic Pink Grapefruit it really is a generous size, I can't wait to make a butterfly background with this one! As I mentioned the label is from Very Vintage Labels No.10 stamped in Memento Rose Bud.
My other favorite part of the Nordic Spring set is the tulip border and individual tulip stamp!! Here I stamped the tulip border in VersaMagic Tea Leaves, cut out, stamped another border with the individual tulip stamp (in pink and green), cut out and layered on top, giving me a little tulip garden! : ) The sentiment I over stamped is from yesterday's preview French Country.
My second card features stamps from Florentine Frippery, a very fancy set!! There are three fab labels, two beautiful border stamps, two sentiments and some individual motifs packed into this stamp set. I used one of the gorgeous labels and stamped it in VersaMagic Pink Grapefruit, the sentiment is from the same set. I just love the elegant font!
The sweet little blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used one of the gorgeous border stamps to build the background pattern again using VersaMagic Pink Grapefruit.
I really love both of these sets, I know I'll get a lot of use out of them, so much to play with!!! Here are the ladies sharing previews today. Oh and we have more gorgeous sets for you tomorrow!!

Finally, we have some NEW Waltzingmouse Stamps and lots of em! : ) Today is day one of the previews we're having for the Waltzingmouse Stamps February release. Nine sets are being released and will be available for purchase on the 29th of February. Today we're looking at French Country, Chicken Wire and Make Your Mark. My first card features French Country, there are so many elements in this set, I chose my favorite border and repeat stamped to create the background paper (very easy to line this one up). This would look gorgeous in so many colors! Here's the inspiration photo I used for my card.
It's such a sunny kitchen! A super color combo to work with.
I'm starting to love red a little bit more every time I use it! I used Ink it Up True Red here. The sentiment 'Je t'aime' is from the same set and means 'I love you'.
The black and soft white pearl trinket pins I made, I have a couple of sets in my Etsy shop.
The fab flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Here's the signature stamp I used on the back of my card, it's from the Make Your Mark stamp set. There are so many cool stamps in this set.
So my second card features Chicken Wire and French Country. I went with a fresh blue and yellow color combo inspired by this photo.
The rooster in the French Country set is such a fabulous motif and there are two different sizes to choose from. I decided to make the larger rooster the focal point of my card. I used the larger chicken wire border stamp from Chicken Wire to stamp the top. You can see a peek of the lace border stamp from French Country behind the label. All the blue stamping in this was done with Memento Danube Blue ink.
That fab label is also from French Country and it coordinates with Spellbinders Labels 25, I don't have it yet so I just cut it out by hand.
I just love the font Claire used in the French Country set, it's just perfect for this style! Here I used 'Bonne Fete' which means 'Happy Birthday'.
It wouldn't be french country to me without a bit of gingham! or a lot of gingham! : ) So I sneaked in a bit of Gingham & Co. The cheery yellow gingham and fresh white crochet lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Here's the signature stamp from Make Your Mark I used on the back of this card.
I can't wait to see the previews from the rest of the Waltzingmouse Design Team!! Here's the ladies sharing previews today. Come back tomorrow for a peek at two more gorgeous stamp sets!!

It's time for a new sketch at Card Patterns, this week we're sponsored by My Favorite Things. Each team member was given a gift voucher to purchase some stamps with to use on their cards this week. Here's this week's great sketch! I flipped it on it's side for my card.
I'm loving yellow at the moment, I don't know why but I'm just going with it. If you know me at all you'll know how much I love cameos and silhouettes so when I saw this fabulous stamp set at My Favorite Things I knew it was the one for me! It's Vintage Cameo Stamp Set, there's also a matching die for one of the frames, not this one, I fussy cut this!
I really liked the crackle effect stamp that you can use in the stamped frame, I stamped this with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. The silhouette is stamped with Coffee Archival Ink. The pearl trinket pins I made, the light cream ones are in my Etsy shop. I'll be adding some of the green ones soon.
The sentiment is from the same Vintage Cameo Stamp Set from My Favorite Things. The green paper I embossed using the Swiss Dots embossing folder. The paper is an old one from Pink Paislee, Sweetness Collection.
Picking up the yellow in the patterned paper, I used a strip of yellow cardstock to make a paper ruffle. See my tutorial for the paper ruffle here. The white crochet lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the Willow Green Twill is from the Craft Fairy.
Pop over to Card Patterns to see what the rest of the team have created this week. If you have time play along to be in with a chance of winning a gift voucher from My Favorite Things and an opportunity to be a guest designer at Card Patterns. I hope you're having a great weekend. I'll be back tomorrow with the previews of the new stamps being released at Waltzingmouse Stamps. : )

Today is my first official post on the SRM Stickers blog! Several St.Patrick's Day projects are being featured on the SRM Stickers blog today, go check it out.
I went with the colors of the Irish flag for my project, green, white and orange. I used a mix of stickers from Express Yourself - St.Patrick's Day by SRM Stickers to create the background. I added some texture by mixing in a little felt, I made a ruffle and mini rosette.
The tag is from Say it With Stickers - St.Patrick's Day. The cute shamrock sticker in the centre of the rosette is from Quick Cards - Lucky. I die cut the scalloped border using Spellbinders Edgeabilities Classic Scallop.
The tubes from SRM Stickers I decorated with some detachable felt rosette badges. Very easy to make from felt, just a length of felt about 10", I used a 1 1/2" wide length and stitched along one side and gathered. I stitched the ends together and added the tails and centers. I added a little safety pin to the back.
Isabelle can't wait to wear hers at the parade and I made one for her little cousin Abi too. I'm sure they'll enjoy the chocolate treats inside the tubes!! : )
I decorated the tubes using Quick Cards - Lucky, We've Got Your Border - Thanks and We've Got Your Border - Birthday. Here's the back.
Ok, I hope you enjoyed that! I'll be back tomorrow with my Card Patterns card and on Sunday we start the previews of the new stamp sets being released by Waltzingmouse Stamps, there are 9, yes I said 9 amazing sets being released, you won't want to miss this one! : ) Have a great weekend!

Hello! It's our last week at CASE Study with Karola Witczak as our muse, I've really enjoyed the fantastic inspiration. Here's Karola's creation this week.
I chose to CASE the rosettes and v-ended tags. I went with a sweet, girly theme. A perfect card for a little girl.
I used the larger Sizzix rosette die to make my rosette. The Pink Gingham Ribbon and Satin Dotty Ribbon are from the Craft Fairy. The Antique White Twill I customized by adding the pink 'make believe' sticker from We've Got Your Sticker - Princess by SRM Stickers. The heart sticker in the centre of the rosette is from the same sticker set.
The 'Make a Wish' sentiment is from We've Got Your Sticker - Happy by SRM Stickers. The background I embossed with the seeing spots embossing folder.
The cute diagonal stripe patterned paper is from the Nantucket Collection by Pink Paislee. I really like this pink and orange color combo, it's cute and cheery! Don't forget to pop over to CASE Study and check out the amazing creations from the rest of the design team. If you have time this week play along with us, we'd love to see your creations!
