Hello! It's our final week with the talented Kristii Lockart as our muse at CASE Study. Here's Kristii's beautiful card this week.
I CASEd the fabulous color combo, the doily stamp and inked edges. I really love Kristii's card, it's just gorgeous!
The pretty lace doily stamp is from a retired Layers of Color stamp set by Nina B Designs. The postal stamp is from Artsy Banners stamp set from Crafty Secrets. Both are stamped using Coffee archival ink. The sweet Green Swiss Dot Ribbon and Large Red Rose are from Craft Fairy. The smaller flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The 'hello friend' sticker is from Sticker Sentiments - Thinking of You by SRM Stickers. I had fun with layering the sticker over some stamping on this card.
The mustard yellow patterned paper is from Crate Paper - Portrait Collection. I embossed a lower section of the card using the Seeing Spots embossing folder from Cuttlebug. Don't forget to check out the creations from the rest of the CASE Study design team. I hope you have a wonderful day! : )

I still can't believe it, it seems so surreal to see my card on the cover! It's my first time being published in CardMaker Magazine (US), I'm delighted to have two cards in this September issue and over the moon to have one of my cards on the cover!! The digital version is available to view online to subscribers, I can't wait to have the printed copy in my hands!! The fabulous sentiment is from Say it Loud from Waltzingmouse Stamps. I had lots of fun with the quilling on this, the shapes are all pretty simple to make, it's when you put them together you have some fun autumn leaves to play with. I glued the elements together before adhering them to my card, it's much easier to move the leaves around as a solid element rather than moving all the little pieces! It's easier to get the layout to work that way. I better make more time for quilling! : )

This is my second post for today, scroll down for my CASE Study card. I've some fancy baby cards on the SRM Stickers blog today. I had some fun and made some cute shaped cards! The templates I drew by hand.
You can't beat the classic onesie shape, it's easy to change up the colors for a girl or boy or neutral! The patterned paper is from Childish Things by Fancy Pants Design. The baby blue Saddle Stitched Grosgrain is from Craft Fairy.
The sentiment is from Fancy Sticker Sentiments - Baby by SRM Stickers. I love this set, it's jam packed with sentiments and there's a fabulous range in size.
The pram card was a little bit more tricky to make compared to the onesie but I love the result. The wheels are separate, I attached them with some brads. The patterned paper is from Bloomscape by K&Company. The dusky pink Satin Ribbon is from Craft Fairy.
The sentiment is from the same set Fancy Sticker Sentiments - Baby by SRM Stickers. All the edges were inked with Antique Linen Distress ink. I also added a little stitching. Below is the full sticker set!
Hello! I hope you're having a great day! I'm feeling lighter, I got my hair cut, it was seriously overdue! I have very thick, heavy hair (thanks to my mom's good genes and the fresh country air!), I looked a bit like Cousin Itt before! I'm sure I'll be happy to have such thick hair when I get older. I'm not a big fan of going to the hairdressers/salon (so it's usually just an annual event!) I tend to put it off until it becomes really necessary! It does feel a lot better now though, Isabelle liked it, she combed it for ages when I got home and put lots of her sparkly bows and clips in it for me. I looked great! ; )
Here's my CASE Study card for this week. It's our third week with the lovely Kristii Lockart as our muse. Here's her amazing card this week!
I love Kristii's card there's so much to look at! I CASEd the overall color scheme, use of gingham ribbon and the bird theme.
I was experimenting a bit, I tried to make this card in a shorter period of time (30-40 mins instead of 1-2 hours!), sometimes I over work my cards. I wanted a fresh and fast card! The cute bird is from the Bloomscape collection from K&Co. The sentiment is from Sticker Sentiments - Thinking of You by SRM Stickers.
The sweet Red Gingham and Buttons are from Craft Fairy. The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Now check out the amazing creations from the CASE Study design team. Enjoy your day! : )

Just made it! I hope you got a chance to play along with us for the July Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Party. The theme was The Great Outdoors. I went with a summer picnic inspired theme (I always bring jam and scones on a picnic!)
I used the fab new Jar Fillers - Jam Packed and the Candy Jar. I love this sweet set, so many fab combos and the sentiments are brilliant!
I used Memento Lady Bug ink to stamp the polka dot pattern, the label I stamped using Coffee ink and the sentiment in Jet Black. All the edges I inked with Antique Linen Distress ink.
The flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the Twill Ribbon is from Craft Fairy.
Ok, I'm off to check out the rest of the creations on the hop! I'll be back tomorrow with my CASE Study card!

It's still wet as ever here, I'd love some sunshine!! I'm feeling much better now but now Isabelle has the snuffles, I'm sure the weather isn't helping. Anyway I've a couple of cards to share, ones that didn't get picked up for a call but I did have two others chosen so I'm still happy! : )
I had some fun with felt and different textures with this one. I love that knitted pattern stamp from Faux Fun from Waltzingmouse Stamps, I mixed up some beige paint to match my colors. The label is from Very Vintage Labels No.18 stamped using Memento Pistachio ink and the sentiment is from Compact Sentiments - Part 2 also from Waltzingmouse Stamps stamped in Coffee ink.
The pretty beige and caramel tone flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the Cream Pearl Trinket Pins are from my Etsy Shop. The Cream Button Twine is from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
The second card is all about diagonals! I love the layout, it's based on a sketch. I think I'll give it another go with a different color combo.
The sentiment is from We've Got Your Sticker - Forever from SRM Stickers. I just love their white stickers! The bit of sparkle is from Beautiful Bling Borders Endless Waves by Nina Brackett from Want2Scrap.
The lovely flowers are again from Wild Orchid Crafts, seam binding is from my stash. I love this shade of blue.
I hope you have a great day! I must go finish a commission, pack it up and pop it in the post (mail)!

Long time, no post! Sorry for my absence but I've had the most annoying cold for the past two weeks, it's turned into a lingering cough, that's pretty annoying at night. I haven't had much energy which is driving me nuts (I've been longing to do some work in the garden) and I've just had to take it a bit easy. The weather looks promising (less rain!) for the weekend so I'm hoping I'll be better by then. Enough of the moaning and on to the card!
It's our second week with the lovely Kristii Lockart as our muse at CASE Study, here's her fabulous inspiration card this week. I love the vintage feel to this card!
I CASEd the ribbon treatment, label with sentiment, use of trim at the top of the card and zig zag stitching. I did start with squares in my design but it just wasn't working for me!
I used the sweet new stamp set Big Berries - Strawberry from Waltzingmouse Stamps, it's a cute little 3x4 inch set! The berry part I stamped using Memento Cherry Red and the stalk is stamped with Memento Pistachio. Patterned paper is from Pretty Party by Crate Paper.
The sentiment is from the same set, I'm loving the retro font on this, very cute! Stamped using Jet Black.
The green floral paper is from Miss Caroline (Howdy Doody) by My Mind's Eye. I also added a zig zag stitch sticker from We've Got Your Border - Birthday by SRM Stickers.
Now check out the wonderful creations from the CASE Study design team! Have a great day!

It's July and we have a brand new muse at CASE Study and I'm a big fan of her work. It's the talented Kristii Lockart. Here's her fabulous inspiration card for this week.
I CASEd the color combo, use of stars and overall sweet theme. I'm still obsessed with pinwheels as you can see! This large pinwheel is from Playful Pinwheels from Waltzingmouse Stamps. Here I went all polka dotty using Memento Lady Bug and Pistachio. I used the Starry Night embossing folder in the background.
The jar is the same jar from Candy Jar Christmas - Fillers but is also available on it's own too as Candy Jar (Pre-order at present) from Waltzingmouse Stamps. I added some shading with colored pencils. The light Green Saddle Stitch Grosgrain ribbon is from Craft Fairy.
The sentiment is from Sticker Sentiments - Thinking of You from SRM Stickers. The white lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Oh and we have a special announcement!! Andrea Ewen is returning to the CASE Study design team! Everybody say YAY!! : ) Now check out the faboulous creations from the DT! : )

Hi! I just wanted to wish all my friends in the USA a happy 4th of July! I hope you're all having a fab day! I'm still enjoying using Playful Pinwheels from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
I used the stripes stamp from Playful Pinwheels, stamped using Memento Lady Bug and the stars stamp from the same set using Memento Danube Blue. The edges I inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Sentiments are from Express Yourself - 4th of July and Quick Cards - July 4th from SRM Stickers.
The Red Paper Rose, Red Chiffon and Guipure Lace are all from Craft Fairy. The papers are from Fancy Pants. I also used the Starry Night embossing folder on the background.
I'll be back tomorrow with my CASE Study card. It's milder here today but we have some thunder and very heavy showers! Hoping for a dry spell, the garden is saturated!

I made a fun and cheerful 70th birthday card using the extra large numbers from We've Got Your Number - XL Numbers from SRM Stickers.
I layered them onto some white cardstock and did a little fussy cutting. I added them to my card with some foam pads.
The fabulous sentiment sticker is from Fancy Sticker Sentiment - Birthday by SRM Stickers. If you're going to try out some SRM Stickers I highly recommend the Fancy Sentiments, I can't get enough of them!
That fabulous 3D roses sticker (which is massive!) is from the Bloomscape Ephemera Pack by K&Company. There's also a little bit of baker's twine in there from The Twinery. I hope your day was wonderful! : )
Hi! Just sharing a card I made for Cardmaking & Papercraft (UK) Issue 106. I was asked to do The Cardmaker's Guide to Glass Painting feature! A challenge, but I'm always up for a challenge!
I created and traced a simple floral design onto acetate using an outliner, left to dry. I used solvent based glass paints (you can mix the colors too!) to fill in the design. I also discovered by adding white glass paint to each color you get a much brighter finish, which is better for cards as you don't get as much light shining behind your creation compared to a traditional suncatcher you'd have on a window.
The sentiment sticker is from SRM Stickers. To mount the acetate panel on my card I simply cut a circle aperture in the middle of my card.
It's a really fun technique but I did find you need a fairly simple design to work with, controlling the outliner is just like icing with a piping bag, tricky! You could use a readymade peel-off as an alternative though.
Here's my card in the layout, complete with steps on how to make the card shown. I also made four more glass painting projects for this feature but you'll have to pick up a copy of the magazine to see those!
Here's the issue it's in, Issue 106 of Cardmaking and Papercraft and my card made it on the cover! Top left hand corner! : )
